Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 11:42PM Once a proud country, America, the land of the free and home of the brave - still true but in fewer and fewer numbers - has become a mass of people pointing the blame at .... 'Finger-pointing' always leaves three fingers pointing back. Here in America today, will those pointing the fingers take note of this fact? Who is really 'at fault' in the crisis facing this country...
Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 11:26PM I mean no disrespect in this letter, but until you recognize the real problem(and it is not OBAMA) and educate yourself about the consequences of not fighting against the STATE and arresting its power at every turn, then there is no hope.

Picture worth 1000 words
Picture is precious and the story behind it - we should never forget!
Meet Landon.
His father, Marine LCPL Carpenter, gave his life defending our country in Afghanistan earlier this year, a month before his son was born. Baby Landon's Mom wants his story to be known. Take a moment to share this photo with your friends and reflect on the price of freedom.
Never forget the price of freedom.
God bless Marine LCPL Carpenter and his family!
As a former Marine of 14 years, I personally urge everyone reading this consider voting out every incumbent at all levels of government for 3 - 4 elections cycles in a row until they, politicians, ask us what they think we should have them doing. You, my friend, like it or not, are the BOSS in this republic of the united States, it is your responsibility to hold those in government accountable, are you??? If not, baby Landon's dad died in vain because Americans at home are NOT holding up their end!
Semper fi,

Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 8:55PM This is the lowest January 1 inventory of all cattle and calves since 1952, when USDA recorded a total of 88.1 million head. So what does it all mean besides we, in America, have allowed the elite to control our destiny as a people, as a country, and still "EVERYBODY goes on their 'merry way'" toward oblivion!

Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:56PM Unbelievable. Stimulus money meant to create U.S. jobs went to (Communist) Chinese firms.
Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 9:16AM At present, the Obama administration projects total debt to increase by $26 trillion in 10 years, which is more than 15 percent higher than the projected $22.5 trillion gross domestic product. Remembering that all spending originates in the House/Senate and involves both political parties, all politicians are in fact guilty at all levels of government spending other peoples' money....
Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 12:15AM Can you believe that education professors drum into students that they should not "drill and kill" or be the "sage on the stage" but instead be the "guide on the side" who "facilitates student discovery." This kind of harebrained thinking, coupled with multicultural nonsense, explains today's education.

Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 11:18AM "Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of the people; and not for profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government; and to reform, alter, or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness require it." --John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776
Monday, January 9, 2012 at 12:15PM This once concise statement shows the both the methodology of the politicians, chiefly but not separately used by those elected President, and the complicit nature of Congress, toward the disenfranchising of the people regarding the government they - the people - had established in the late 1700's. "These latter actions were probably unconstitutional, but Congress (and subsequently so did the people) acquiesced in the face of wartime contingencies, and the matters were never challenged in court." Thus precedents began to proliferate because once accepted, though wrongly applied or justified, these precedents were the basis for further straying from the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.
Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 2:50PM California and Illinois have many things in common: Harsh business environments High tax rates Both states are among the most pro-union states Both states lack right-to-work laws That California and Illinois suffer from business flight and high unemployment should not be surprising. WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House plans to ask Congress by the end of the week for an increase in the government's debt ceiling to allow the United States to pay its bills on time, according to a senior Treasury Department official on Tuesday. The approval is expected to go through without a challenge, given that Congress is in recess until later in January and the request is in line with an agreement to keep the U.S. government funded into 2013. The debt is projected to fall within $100 billion of the current cap by December 30, when the United States has $82 billion in interest on its debt and payments such as Social Security coming due. President Barack Obama is expected to ask for authority to increase the borrowing limit by $1.2 trillion, part of the spending authority that was negotiated between Congress and the White House this summer. Under the agreement struck in August during the showdown over the government's debt limit, the cap is automatically raised unless Congress votes to block the debt-ceiling extension. Lawmakers have 15 days within receiving the request to vote, which is largely symbolic because the president can veto it and Congress would be unlikely to muster the two-thirds majority to override it. Moreover, the U.S. House of Representatives also is in recess until January 17. The deal called for raising the debt ceiling by $2.1 trillion to serve the nation's borrowing needs into 2013 and also included mandatory cuts to the federal budget deficit. Since then, the extension has been increased twice by a total of $900 billion. The debt limit currently stands at $15.194 trillion and would increase to $16.394 trillion with the request. http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/12/27/us-usa-treasury-debt-idUSTRE7BQ0KU20111227

Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 8:09AM The centralization of decision-making amplifies the effects of poor decisions while disincentivizing prudent ones. Unlike an individual or a well-run corporation, government is not motivated by how efficient it can be, but rather by how lucrative it can be for those associated with it, and how those who run the government can stay in power.
