Article II. Section. 4. - Constitution
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
The Constitution also allows for involuntary removal from office. The President, Vice-President, Cabinet Secretaries, and other executive officers, as well as judges, may be impeached by the House of Representatives and tried in the Senate.
Any official convicted by impeachment is immediately removed from office. The Senate may also choose to bar the removed official from holding any federal office in the future. No other punishments may be inflicted pursuant to the impeachment proceeding, but the convicted party remains liable to trial and punishment in the courts for civil and criminal charges.
Reasons for obama’s impeachment:
1. Fast and furious. Attorney general Eric Holder under president obama’s authority bought fully automatic weapons with American taxpayer money and gave these weapons to Mexican drug lords in an attempt to track said weapons and use this information to create support to ban weapons. This abuse of power resulted in American border patrolman Brian Terry. Agent Brian Terry was mortally wounded on Dec. 14, 2010, in a firefight north of the Arizona-Mexico border between U.S. agents and five men who had sneaked into the country to rob marijuana smugglers. President Barack Obama has asserted executive privilege in response to requests made by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, who has embarked on a controversial investigation into the Department of Justice's Operation Fast and Furious gun-running program.
The invocation of executive privilege allows the president to defy requests and subpoenas by members of the legislative and judicial branches for information the White House deems sensitive. Obama's decision will allow him to refuse to provide certain documents pertaining to the Fast and Furious program. This is blatant abuse of power and an obvious cover-up. This is the same behavior Nixon used to cover up his involvement in Watergate. The only difference between the two is that NO ONE died in Watergate but in the Fast and furious scandal American border patrolman Brian Terry died from American owned weapons given to Mexican drug lords.
2. The IRS scandal. President Obama is the commander in chief and he is ultimately responsible for all of the actions that his subordinates do. The IRS targeted, harassed and denied conservative Tea party groups tax exempt status. This was POLITICALLY motivated. This happened around the Presidential election. This is a blatant abuse of power and what the founders warned us about. Obama knew that this was going on and I believe once this is researched further more damning evidence will involve Obama and other heads of state making for further impeachable offenses.
3. Benghazi. On sept.11th our Libyan embassy was attacked by terrorists. Obama the next day flew to Las Vegas to party with Jay-Z and Beyoncé and he and his people made a false unsubstantiated claim that the embassy attack was in direct response to an American made YOUTUBE movie that denigrated the religion of Islam. This was untrue. We were attacked by terrorists and Obama did not want to look weak on national defense around election time. We could have helped or saved the embassy but under the orders of Obama many were told to stand down and No marines were sent in to help or save our people. Four Americans died in the attack: Ambassador Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and two embassy security personnel, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, both former Navy SEALs. Stevens is the first U.S. ambassador killed in an attack since Adolph Dubs was killed in 1979
Other incidents which support the removal of Obama as potus are as follows. AP press scandals. – Blatant violation of the first amendment. Semi -automatic gun ban. Direct violation of the second amendment. Fisker, solyndra, NDAA, drones, Obama care, obama signed into law HR3475. This law severely limits our freedom of speech, Suing Arizona for enforcing federal immigration laws, Supporting ACORN and its illegal election practices, lack of a “transparent government”, The GSA and The Secret Service sex scandals and allowing the fed to create trillions out of the thin air electronically to buy junk bonds and junk stocks to artificially stimulate the stock market. President Obama has consistently broke his oath, “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” He has only tried to dismantle it, not preserve it. The 3 above issues are reasons enough for impeachment. Obama has a consistent record that deserves impeachment. Anyone who has read our nation’s documents and the founder’s writings can only arrive to ONE conclusion. The founders would detest Obama and his anti-freedom and American views and policies. They would have him impeached and would reset America back to its original intent. They would want freedom, a small federal government with all power deemed to the states and local government respectively. – Frank
James Madison explained the requirement for impeachment during the debates of the Constitutional Convention of 1787: "[S]ome provision should be made for defending the community against the incapacity, negligence, or perfidy of the chief magistrate. He might pervert his administration into a scheme of peculation or oppression. He might betray his trust to foreign powers."
Alexander Hamilton explained in The Federalist Papers (No. 65) that impeachment of the president should take place for "offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men, or in other words, from the abuse or violation of some public trust. They are of a nature which may with peculiar propriety be denominated political, as they relate chiefly to injuries done immediately to society itself."
And, in The Federalist Papers (No. 70), Hamilton further explained: "Men in public trust will much oftener act in such a manner as to render them unworthy of being any longer trusted, than in such a manner as to make them obnoxious (subject) to legal punishment."
"Experience has already shown that the impeachment
In the Constitution has provided is not even a scarecrow."
